Credit Reform 10

A Call to Action for Further Credit Card Reform

Credit Reform 10 is about creating a grass-roots initiative to get Congress to act further on creating a credit bailout for the American people, starting specifically with the Senate.

What is it? A more realistic means of enabling people to repay their debts, once and for all, so they can start living life above the line.

More importantly for the economy- start buying things again instead of paying down debt!

What it involves is this:

* Make any interest rate in excess of 10% compounded daily (normal credit card interest) illegal.

* Allow a period of ten (10) consecutive months of zero percent (0%) interest rate on your balance to further help you pay it back or down. The time this begins would be at your choosing, and the institution must comply.

* Allow you to write off the accrued credit card interest for the tax year on your itemized deductions, provided that you don’t charge anymore to those cards during that tax year. You use it, and you lose that tax break.

* Have the law remain in effect for 10 years.

* Send a letter to your Senators containing the above requirements, which I have written for you. See the states below.

* If you like what this is all about, ask 10 people to do the same.

I have listed the states on the bottom of the page. These contain the letters addressed to the respective Senators. All you need to do is print it out, fill them out, and send them in.

Click on your respective state, and follow the directions if you would.

Thank You for your support!
