Reclaim
Re-selling YOUR used items for CASH

I have listed a couple different aspects to the notion of Reclaim.
One is the Online version of reclaiming, like Ebay, which is more like the affiliate marketing aspect of The Personal Conglomerate concept. It’s a bit more impersonal, and remote.
The other version of reclaiming is through the use of Craigslist, which is more like the direct sales aspect of The Personal Conglomerate concept. It is dealing with people face-to-face.
In either case, “Reclaim” is the notion of attempting to sell something BEFORE YOU THROW IT AWAY.
Now, obviously, if it’s broken, or has little or no value, etc, it’s not worthy of sale to anyone, nor should you try. Believe me, there are those out there trying to pass off broken stuff as good, and this is downright criminal. Once again, an act by jerks that can turn you off to the concept, and make you leery of having anything to do with it.
My position is this- you’re probably sitting on more of a gold mine than you think, just with the stuff you have lying around, that you don’t believe has value.
I’m not advocating that you turn the Ebay and Craigslist type of thing into a business itself, however, some people do.
All I’m saying here is you can potentially squeeze a little value out of what you may not find useful anymore, and offset the cost of that item to you by re-selling it.
You have to be careful about this now, because the IRS may be wanting a cut of it if you’re stepping into some big-time revenue generation from it (Tom Herman, 2010).

I’ll be glad to share with you, the tips and techniques I used for successful reclaim transactions. Although I list Ebay as a portion of this “Personal Conglomerate” concept, I don’t use it. I’d much rather reclaim stuff locally using Craigslist, in the Direct Sales approach. But that’s me. I’m not into packaging and shipping my used items. To me, that’s more of a hassle than moving the “inventory” that I have on Craigslist. So, sorry if you want information about how to use Ebay. I’m not going into detail about that, however, do not discount it’s usage in the concept of Reclaim. Perhaps it will work for you. For more detail on how I use
